Alicia was a fabulous partner in helping us buy our property in August 2026. I was having trouble with another mortgage “broker” when I called her on a Saturday afternoon, and not only did she answer the phone, but listened to exactly what we needed and we were off from there. She was always so quick to respond to anything during the process and was diligently on top of all the logistics the entire time to make sure things went smoothly. I cannot recommend Merit Mortgage enough! I had the pleasure of working with Alicia and Kara, and they were both absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, Alicia stood out because she was always available to answer my questions — even after hours. When I first contacted her, I had just gone through a very frustrating experience with another lender that was unresponsive to calls and emails.

Alicia took the time to answer every question I had and even told me she would help me whether or not she earned my business. She actually encouraged me to take the information she provided back to the previous lender to see if they could improve the situation. That level of honesty and professionalism immediately earned my trust.

It quickly became clear that the other company was not the right fit, and switching to Merit Mortgage was the best decision I could have made. Alicia and Kara made the entire process seamless and stress-free. They were always quick to respond, kept me informed every step of the way, and truly cared about helping me achieve my goal.
